Cindy, I am so happy that you have your little Jin.He is precious! I read your blog. It brought back a rush of emotions for me! We just got back from China on the 1st of August! did bao run to all the buddhas? they are so cute together in their matching clothes. museum pics are awesome. guess they don't have the same rules about "no photography" in their museums like we do here, huh? like that would stop you (remember mary proctor?)

I am so excited to read each new entry! What a wonderful family! With two boys, almost the same age, you have your work cut out for you, but I know you wouldn't have it any other way! They are both so wonderfully handsome!

It has hit me!
Hi guys, sorry to be uncommunicative. I just got back from Wisconsin and started back to school today and this is the first I have been able to tune in directly. I am sitting at my desk crying for the emotional journey of your adding a second son to your family and to all of ours. (I am an Aunt again - Hooray!) I have been reading backwards and hope that Bao's eye is much better. My love and prayers are with you through this incredible time of your lives. Will have to look into travel plans soon to come meet Jin and make sure Bao remembers his Aunt Sherry and of course to see you both Allen and Cindy. Love you guys!

Sorry to hear Bao had an accident. Children make us so happy when they are loud and running all over the place but, as soon as we can't hear them, we know something is wrong. With their recovery joy is reestablished. All the best to your whole family.

It gets better
Just wait, it gets better, for them! Wait until they actually start working, more like plotting against your and societies rules of behavior. But all that's normal. You are also going to start seeing why Michele and I hardly ever took the kids out to eat, unless it was a McDonalds playground! Just remember you are making memories! They may not be good ones until a few years go by and the pain and embarassment subside. You just have to roll with it, anybody with kids will understand and smile, and for those who don't, who cares. Have fun!

that Bao is doing OK now.... maybe doing too good with his little brother's help. Sounds like they are having a great party wherever they go! I just pray for no more injuries. Please give them a big hug from me!

Ah ha!
Ah ha, I thought I saw a mischievous look in both of their eyes! You guys are in for it for sure! The memories are already starting to flood in. I had to laugh reading this, trying to visualize the whole scene with the two of them running throughout the restaurant terrorizing everyone. Too funny.

Happy to hear all is well.
Yep, you've got boys - little stinkers prone to getting stitches, broken bones, and the like. It's the most inopportune times that I always hate the most, like when you're on the other side of the earth adopting your new son. Ha, ha. I'm so happy to hear Bao's doing so well considering his cut. What a tough little guy! I'll be praying it heals without much scarring. Although a scar at the brow is quite handsome, just ask my oldest son. Oh, and Jin looks like he's already adjusted to his new family. Congratulations on your official day as a family of 4!

You have your hands full!! I hope you are still enjoying our trip!!! It will go by fast. Once you are in Guangzhou, it will be better. If you are staying at the White Swan, they have an awesome play room... big, carpeted and meant for destruction! Have you seen the playroom at your current hotel, if not ask about it. It isn't big, but the boys would love it!
