Bad nights sleep. I was jumping at every noise, imagining wild mountain men coming to attack us, wild animals coming to attack us, snakes, or wild men with wild animals and snakes around their necks coming into the tent (you get the idea) And of course because we were all in bed by 8, it was a long time until daylight. John didn't sleep too well either, but I daresay it wasn't due to any panic about wild things, but probably because of his crazy wife jumping at every noise. We were visted by our porter/waiter at around 6:30 at the door to our tent: "Good morning sir, chai". This was to be the catchcry of every morning, and I was never greeted until it was me who opened the tent, while "Sir" was still rubbing
