Streets empty indeed! You'll have to go back and read my blog post about Narbonne. Kevin and I also found our visit to be anticlimactic . . . and cold--we were there last February too. It's too bad, really, since the city is quaint and has (read: had) a lot of potential. Anyway, enjoyed reading all about it and hope you warm up soon! If you need a good meal, we stayed with a devout buddhist/personal chef named Fred, who lives 2 minutes from the cathedral. I'm sure he'd be happy to have a visitor :)
hey I have been diligent in reading your blogs and enjoying your vivid descriptions of all the places you have been to. I hope things are going well. Are you experiencing the cold weather that I have been reading about? Please take care.

Gerrtings Pretty cool update Aubrey. It is fun to experience this adventure through you and your blog. Be safe and keep posting this great adventure. Keeping you in our prayers.
Hand holding is normal. If you're not American. It happened to me mostly in Italy, but hand holding is something relatively common in places where personal space bubbles are virtually nonexistent. It's decision time: either you embrace . . . or you buy gloves :)
I call myself a world traveler and I've discovered there is more than just the world to explore. We are searching for something, that which makes us connected, to each other and to everything. And this is an experience best shared.
