I whipped Ant's arse... ...in the PADI course, which was of course my main goal in doing it. We're also in Laos as well now. Currently in Vang Viang...heading north if you're in the area?
Great to hear that Jen passed the course .... hope she didn't ace you in the exam. I caught the train through sth thailand to Bangkok (a couple of guys with machine guns sitting behind me was the only sign of the insurgence) ... am now in Laos, gotta head up here if you have the time (Scrap Aus) ... no diving unfortunately, but no leeches either.
hersuit adventures I got to the bit where you told me to imagine I was a 5 year old boy but then I couldn't get any further cuz the words were too big for me and anyway, mummy was yelling at me to come down for my supper and to 'get off that bloody computer'.
pervs... Ant, my friend, I'm feeling for you here and hoping Jenny has enough strong words to keep these pervs off ya sexy body ;o)
Seriously though, I was p*****ing myself when I was reading that... But then again, there's always that one with a camera and indecent intentions. Glad Jenny was there to tell him off and save you from turning up on some dodgy internet site! Imagine that!
Much love guys - hope the jungle treats you well :o)
No tigers here in Antigua either ... well, not since the Bangladeshis left for Guyana at any rate.
But they do have vast great herds of wild donkeys roaming free across the savannahs. Result!
Nelly the Ele Ahhhhhh, little Anster, there will be other elephants for you to ride you know - and clearly the coffin doggers need the leg up more than you. Anyway, sounds like you crazy kids are having an amazing time. Really enjoying your prose Ant - lots and lots more please!
Toodle Pip!
barlow just catching up...sorry! just a quick thank you to Letty really for her flattery re my Take That rendition (I'm available for christenings and bar mitzvah's). As for you guys, first you were too cold, now you're too hot........you're not going to get any sympathy from this side of the world!! Did you get any photos of Mr Deep?
Observatory You went to the wierd observatory thigny!
Loads of really oversize astrological instruments, I remember a very hot day there clambering up and down giant sundials.
Reccoment Jodphur if you're going that far, otherwise an overnight camel trip in the desert.
I never thought I'd be the one sitting at a desk reading OTHER PEOPLEĀ“s travel blogs.. ah well back to earth with a thump! .. It's great to see what you're up to and I love the commentary! Love from Buenos Aires.. by the time you get here you'll be expert travellers (I expect at least a few dreds and tatoos) Katharine x
take pads It's comic relief here and Gary Barlow has just sung 'Patience' to a group of blind African street kids. However this rendition didn't move me to anything like the tears I shed for Pads's unforgettable rendition of this beautiful song to wish you farewell.
After far too many years working we've both decided to take early retirement (well just for a year). The plan is to meander round the world from India through to Brazil and everywhere in between. We're pretty much free spirits on this trip and our only commitment is to visit our adopted pregnant elephant in northern India. We hear that she's very excited about our visit.... full info
