Fond memories of Lake Coeur d'Alene Hi Barb and David,
John, the girls, and I spent a week at Lake Coeur d'Alene about 25 years ago. We gathered for a family reunion of the California and Alberta branch of the family. It was a beautiful area. We took our boat and enjoyed giving everyone rides and a chance to explore more of the lake.
Your trip sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing the photos of the Spokane Falls. Enjoy your week on the coast.

Enjoyed! I've been wondering what you've been up to, so was nice to get your travelblog. It is a beautiful park and you've got beautiful pictures. In our old age we do get smarter about our limits, don't we?
We'll wait to hear from you again! Have fun, be careful, watch for bears!
Dr. Abbey We are now in Maryland as you will be able to tell from our newest posting. Our niece just got her medical degree. At the end of June she will be moving to Wichita, KS for 5 years for a combined internship and then orthopedic surgery residency. What an accomplishment. We are really enjoying the trip and looking forward to Maine and Canada. Barb
Glad to hear from you! I have been checking that Travelblog site and was wondering what had happened to you! Glad to hear it wasn't a mechanical problem with your vehicle.
Dr. Abbey in what field? Our niece just got her doctorate in pharmacy from the U of MT.
Hope all continues to go well on your trip and I look forward to future blogs!
Glad that you made it to Munich Barb --
So good to hear that you arrived....and are enjoying the blog. Since we're headed to Prague on our trip, we're interested in what you two find especially fun there.
Take care,
Mary
Things to do in Munich If you are looking for things to do in Munich before mom gets there? The BMW headquarters and manufacturing plant are in Munich and I think they do tours.
Germany Hi Barb,
I know you haven't left just yet - there's still work to do!!
A few years ago, I went to Germany to visit my son when he was stationed there. We made sure we ate Bavarian Creme in Bavaria, Black Forest Cake in the Black Forest and German Chocolate at several places in Germany! Due to poor timing and not knowing how to coordinate things ahead of time, we missed out on a trip down the Rhine River, which would have been a fabulous trip - and the perfect place to have Rhine wine. Have a wonderful time and ENJOY!
