It's cold. It's windy. And there's snow whipping its way across DIA. We left the house at 8am to head for the airport. It has been snowing since 2am. After 2 hours we finally reached Peña Blvd. The slushy roads are now accompanied by ice and idiots. Cars everywhere, in the ditches, stuck sideways, semis jack knifed. Some people just gave up, called it quits, threw their towels in and surrendered to mother nature's nightmare. We however, kept trucking on. It was ugly out there. You were lucky if you could see more then 20 feet in front of your vehicle. So that's what a white out looks like ;) We reached our treacherous destination at 1030am.
