A Broke Backpacker's Jetsetting Journey

Recently I have been gathering articles and blogs from I have written from other publications as well as from memory after losing work on a laptop to add to this blog. Quite a few of the entries are in rough draft form, or are only the beginning of an article, so please check back frequently. I hope to share as many ideas, tricks and tips as I can for living and traveling like a jet-setter on a very limited budget.

If I had waited until I saved enough $ to travel according to the Lonely Planet/Rough Guide's suggestions of 'cheap' travel tips, I never would have left home. My idea of a cheap ticket abroad is for 1 penny, and I'll pass on any hostel for a Global Freeloader member's couch. Read my "Sleep Free" entry.
