It was very thick and dense forest.I and Rahul were trekking far ahead from other team members through this dense and thick forest towards our destination.Suddenly our feet stopped,because we both heard screaming noise of wild anamal..No sooner did we turn back ,we saw one black big bear running down just 5 meter ahead of us.We did not fear,because Bear never attacks the man until man and Bear meet close to each in the forest suddenly.Bear attacks for self protection only.We both had narrow escape.Had I not shouted loudly while trekking,bear might have attacked on me,because I was bit ahead from Rahul.This incident made us more alert.It is said that while going thru dense forest,one should go by shouting loudly.This preventive measure we adopted and it saved us.
It was day of Saturday and date was 7-05-2016.We five adventurous and religious trekkers from Lahul valley started this most adventurous,dangerous but also gorgeous trekking expedition from Kullu.We started our motor car journey at 7:15AM from Kullu.Actually we had to travel by vehicle to reach at the base camping village SHARCHI and then trekking to start from here.
While going to Sharchi village which is located and nestled in the very high place at the altitude of 2550 m from mean sea level,we had to go towards most magical,magnificent and marvellous Green valley of Banjar Tehsil. This green,clean and beautiful valley is called,TIRTHAN valley.
