We decided to skip Bangkok and head straight to Kanchanaburi once we got off the train. We caught a taxi to the bus station and there luckily was a bus leaving in 10 minutes to Kanchanaburi.

We caught a truck to VN Guesthouse, had some lunch then walked around to see some of the sights.

We went to the grave yard where the POW's were buried. They had the grounds roped off because the ground is soft due to the excessive amounts of rain. When Tris and I were there we really enjoyed the Burma Railway Museum so we decided to see it again with Mom. We had to rush through it quicker then we wanted because it was closing in an hour.

We spent the evening in our room reading and on the internet.

Tomorrow is off to Erawan waterfalls!
