Don Det/4000 Islands Journey from Kratie, Cambodia to Don Det/4000 Islands, Laos went smoothly. Laos Visa administered at the border with no issues surprisingly, other than a further $2 charged on top of the $34 because it was 4.30pm and 'overtime' kicks in at 4pm....??. Hi Gina- hadn't looked at your blog for a while and now I'm way behind with work today having just spent the last half hour catching up on Cambodia, Laos etc. Your writing is fantastic as ever! Photos great too. So glad you are having such a good time- what an experience! I'm off on hols next week to York and then Hampshire- don't think I'll manage such a good blog while I'm away! Meantime all just about hanging together at the office- holiday season now on us so bodies very thin on the ground. Looking forward to catching up with your news when I come back. Ax

Holidays
