Kho Phangan

On Friday we spent the day travelling across to Koh Phangan. The minute we got on the pier we were accosted by a huge crowd of screaming thais offering us taxis. We did accept one, and hopped in it, only to have to wait around while they attempted to persuade more people to get in and fill it up (they make money on a pay per person basis). The thais are a tediously greedy people. We checked into some accommodation which was quite nice but there was a HUGE cockroach in the bathroom. We went into the town and onto the beach, where the infamous full moon party will be held. We found Henry and spent the evening with him. The next morning we decided to move accommodation and luckily found this place called Coco Huts, which is on this amazing private beach and has a pool! it's awesome, and we spent a very enjoyable day lying around in the sun...
