Next leg of our journey. By now the kids are somewhat used to the processes of traveling and the airport routines although Miles still needs to be reminded no to take apart the lane dividers in the lineups and face forward on the escalator. Marrin is absolutely awesome. I really hope she enjoys this enough to do it on her own one day.

We are sitting in the airport at our departing gate for Bangkok. There are way too many Caucasians around me and I keep being reminded that I am in the high season for Thailand.

I will miss the quiet (or relative quiet) of Zhuwei and the little community in the corner of Taipei. Soon enough I can hide away off the main road at the orphanage and have my own space to unpack into.

Miles is on my left engrossed in a new Lego contraption and spread out over three seats. Marrin is on my right and has origami papers all over the few seats to her right…..ahh my family likes to spread out.
On the far right is a Buddhist Nun having a great conversation with a guy from England and everywhere else there are people ABLE to connect to the internet on their computers. I haven’t been able to get this damn laptop connected yet and its driving me NUTS!

Maybe it’s a good thing and I need to just chill out. Maybe.

I am a bit nervous about this next leg of the trip as the new Bangkok airport is new to me and I haven’t been through it as yet. They tell me it’s easy, but I rather like the 20 minute tube hike through Don Muang. Change is inevitable I suppose.

We left Zhuwei at 5 am this morning without saying any goodbyes...too early and it’s not fair to disturb the sleeping. So from all of us “Goodbye!” We’ll miss you!

I’ll write more from the airplane, I have lots to catch up on!
