Lee Jeans had donated a large amount of denim shorts and jeans to Lifestart Foundation....being that the shorts were a little too sexy for Vietnamese taste, we found a pattern to turn them into funky bags.

Mai is the newest member of the workshop and a gifted seamstress. She also comes from a disadvantaged background and suffers from polio. Her new "3-wheel" motorbike now gives her the ability to be mobile, thanks to Mr. Barry, a generous donor from Melbourne, Australia. On the bike is a customer who also just purchased one of her handmade recycled denim bags. Lucky day for Mai!
