Last weekend (10 - 13 July 2008), I traveled with my family to Sầm Sơn beach and relaxed for a few days. The beach which is located 180km south of Hanoi is a popular destination for north Vietnamese during the summer time (from May to July). Some local men are creating sand dunes of different shapes. In the evening, they put colorful lights on them. If we want to take photos at those places, we have to pay them some money. Next morning, all these sand dunes will disappear because of the tide.

Cyclo and bicycle are the 2 major means of transport in the town.
