First stop in Vietnam was Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon. Went to the Cu Chi tunnels here where the Vietnamese hid from the Americans and then attacked them. Tunnels were tiny but did manage to crawl about 25m through 1 of them (lucky I'm not claustrophobic!) HCMC is a busy city with plenty of museums about the war, can see lots of captured American tanks and planes about! Good night life in the city too!

Went to Mui Ne next on the coast, a small fishing village with lots of colourful boats! Some major wind surfing and kite surfing going on in this town due to its location and winds. A good spot to chill out for a few days! Plenty of desserted beaches along the coast with a few hotel resorts springing up on them to take advantage of the new tourism market arising.
