These pictures are from my trip to Vietnam in January 2005.

The trip went well... at least for me. Shannon sprained her ankle on the second day of our three week trip and had to get a cast. Since we flew in to Hanoi and our flight home left from Ho Chi Minh City, we had to keep traveling south anyway. So while I visited most of the sites, Shannon scoped out the best cafes.

I'd love to include more stories later, but right now this is just a picture gallery.

manh was the front desk clerk at my hotel, and he was kind enough to take me out for a tour of hanoi on his day off. we saw ho chi minh's body, a temple, and got some great "egg coffee", which is coffee with meringue on top.
