A further day in Saigon - and laundry on a bus?

Hey, Adam here. Thought I'd just go for a long random wander to soak up the city. I've never been in a city that has so few people on the footpath and so much traffic. It would seem every local owns a scooter and prefers to ride than walk down the street. This makes crossing the road very interesting. As you prepare to cross the road it's like looking at a river of wild rapids. There's an element of doubt that you'll actually make it to the other side. Locals tell you to just keep your peripherals on, walk straight ahead and traffic will simply go around you. But taking those first steps,the scooters part pass inches infront and behind you; you've entered a swarm of madness and not getting hit seems to defy the rules of traffic I thought I knew.



When I got back, Ash was back from his Thailand trip. A good Vietnamese meal ensued, a few beers and it was off on the night bus to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A night bus wasn't part of our original plan and we hadn't yet washed our clothes for the day so it was time to test out the Scrubba wash bag on the go. A couple of minutes later, the clothes were clean and hanging up on the bus' curtain rod. By morning, they were dry and ready for our first day in Cambodia.
