Since Nha Trang and Mui Ne are both beach destinations we decided to go to only one of them, and we chose Mui Ne since it is less touristy. Our pitstop in overcasted Nha Trang confirmed our beliefs. Nha Trang seemed to be busy, even in the early hours of 9am.
Mui Ne is a destination for those seeking a more relaxed enviornment. Tourism is still at its infancy here. The people that do end up coming here are the adreniline junkies since the conditions are prime for windsurfing, kite boarding, and other water sports.
There isnt much to tell you about our experiance in Mui Ne. We went to the white sand dunes and had a great time sliding down to the water. Aside from that, all we did was shower, head to the beach, read a book, and eat.
We must tell you about this one restaurant Areca, which is located across the street from Lucy Resort. It was the best vietnamese food that we have had inside a restaurant. What makes it even better was that it was also the cheapest restaurant that we have eaten in. There probably was better food elsewhere in Mui
Ne, but we didn't even attempt to find out. We were hooked.
Next stop Saigon!
We can definitely see more mula the more south we went...
Hanoi -> Halong Bay -> Cat Ba Island -> Halong City -> Hanoi -> Sapa
-> Hanoi -> HoiAn -> Mui Ne
