Hanoi is craazyyy

Well we have arrived in Hanoi... we thought Ho Chi Minh was mental but this place seems even more crazy! Got a flight which was nice and quick and a taxi to our hostel, the whole journey took 3 hours compared to 14 on the train. We are staying in an 8 bed mixed dorm and they have free drinks from 6-7 on the roof terrace so we will hopefully meet a bunch of people. Going to try and book the Halong Bay Cruise this evening as dont really fancy spending too much time in Hanoi. The air here is so thick with pollution that it has made my throat hurt! Thinking of buying one of those face masks all the vietnamese wear haha. Also the pavements are non existent as they are just covered in parked mopeds and the roads are so mental so you have to just weave through huge buses and bikes haha its a bit too much with the sound of honking horns every split second and people trying to sell you things on every corner.

Definitely cant wait for the cruise though, looks absolutely amazing!
