Day 2

Day 2
Good nights sleep! The room share went well. Today we had a good breakfast, then off on foot to Joan Kiem lake - giant golden tortoise (turtle) story. Then on a local bus to see the 12th C temple of Literature which was really nice to see. Very cultural!
We went for lunch which was Pho ( noodles) I didn't like it, but ate it anyway. Nadia, Britt and I went shopping. We had a real laugh. We are regularly approached by astreet vendor; Nadia and I managed the situation OK.... But Britt struggled to avoid buying bracelets......she bought 7! For future reference ... We will blindfold Britt, and tie her hands behind her back...lol.

This afternoon we had an induction to the programme, to be honest it went in one ear and out the other, but I came away with the handout!
The practising with the chopsticks is paying off as you don't have a choice - good chance of weight loss I think....lol
Tonight we went to see the water puppet show, to be fair, I did nod off, but that must be due to the jet lag as I thought I had enjoyed it! We finished off the day with a beer - sat on kiddie stools round a kiddie table on the kerb edge. That is how it is done her!
