Second round of vaccinations over with thank goodness - feeling like pincushions!

We have been dealing with Mr Hau from V'Explore who has been wonderful and has created and modified an excellent itinerary for us to have a tourist's overview of Vietnam. Basically, we start at the bottom and work our way up (skipping the Central region, as it is monsoon season). The floating markets at the Mekong Delta; a few days at a resort in Nha Trang; Hanoi; Ninh Binh; Sapa; and Halong Bay. We are getting Very Excited! We now have our bookings for Melbourne to Singapore (12.9.11) and Singapore to Saigon (17.9.11) and we are in the throes of packing the house up - just enough so that the kids have room for all their stuff. By the way, They are as excited at getting rid of us as we are to be going...

Bridesmaids

We are from Melbourne, Australia. Very tired of 30+ years of working 9-5 Mon-Fri and wanting to do something different and with fewer hours per day and fewer days per week. We completed TESOL certificates in 2010 and hope to do some teaching in Vietnam, but as we are planning to be as flexible as possible, we will also See What Happens. Heading to Singapore on 12 September 2011 and over to Saigon a few days later, for an indeterminate length of time.... full info
