Today Claire and I arranged our travels to Ha Long (descending dragon; Ha means 'to move down' and long means 'dragon'😉 and Sapa valley. We followed the Lonely Planet Guide's advice and went to Ocean Travel Agency.
We understood about one third of what the girl was telling us so we went back to our hotel with its fantastic staff and organized the tour through them. They speak english fluently and so we understood perfectly what to expect and when and where to be at what time, etc.
Our bus leaves the next day.
Claire is feeling slightly better today and I'm slightly worse.
Got lost again when we went out for dinner and returned to our hotel nearly dead from exhaustion. Leaving at 08:00 tomorrow morning for Ha Long bay. I'm sooo excited: Ha Long was the place I've been most looking forward to see.
