There are 88 deaf children attending literacy classes.

Of the many young disabled people wanting vocational training at the Nguyen Nga Center, many are severely hearing impaired.

In Vietnam, disability often leads to a " wretched life", usually with little hope of rising above the difficulties.

If children do not feel valued and have no hope of independence, then it is almost impossible to motivate oneself.

The Founder and Manager---Mrs Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga started the school in 1993.

The students learn computer skills, knitting and sewing, embroidery, design and manufacturing of handicraft items.
