Well its back to Hanoi and back into the mayhem, we arrived early and had to kill some time before Mr. Hung could get us a room where we could crash for a few hours and get some real sleep in after our night "sleeper" from Sapa. We killed time hanging out around Ho Kiem Lake watching all the old peps doing Tie Chi and eating Baguettes and Cheese, and trying in vein to stay awake in Mr. Hungs Lobby. Once we got a room Jess and I both crashed till 11:00. I got up a little earlier than Jess and went to the Market to grab some munchies and a new book, as I had just finished HH the Dali Lamas Autobiography. I recommend anything about or written by him as he's a very enlightened man who has had a crazy life. Once back from the Market I dragged Jess out for some early dinner where I had my new favorite Beef in black pepper corn sauce. The next morn we hoped on our first of many bus rides from hell that we got as a package deal called the "Open Bus Tour of Vietnam". This '13 hour sweaty, bumpy, stanky trip was only the first of many more to come but after a torturous night we arrived in a cool old town called Hue.
