After staying the night in a stilhouse in Mai Chau I rode to Son La, in thick fog.

rented me a great Minsk 125 dirtbike. Started out on a cold rainy day. Had no troubles wih the bike for all the 1500 km tour.
The fog lifted up....The fog lifted up....

and then there was Mai Chau valley

142 km of fog all the way to Son La

Roadworks and fog all the way to Dien Bien Phu made me move no faster than 15 km/h most of the time

Just before Son La, out of nowhere, starts a sixlane highway with not a soul on it but me.

I had some trouble finding it but it had a real beerfactory nextdoor, though not a drop of beer in the gh.
