Election day!

Woke up to find the electricity off again so no air con 😞 Checked out at 12 and went for lunch though we had a limited choice due to the aforementioned lack of power :P Luckily the hotel in the next street along that has FREE internet wasn't affected so we sat here most of the afternoon. Night bus picked us up at 17:15, it's about a 12hr journey. We've booked a room in Hanoi and the hotel looks fantastic 😊

Once on bus we waited nearly an hour for it to set off!. Bed was good for me, really long, pillow, big blanket, place to store bag....the bus driver however was a git, swerving like a mental, slamming his brakes and beeping his horn constantly on a 'SLEEPER' bus. I was sure I'd find myself splatted in the gangway at some point ... At about 1am we all jumped when we heard an almighty bang, we didn't stop though just did a hit and run :P At 2.30am we stopped in the middle of nowhere while they fixed something on the bus (think they might have changed a wheel) damage no doubt caused by the drivers erratic driving and the killing of innocents. After an hour and 1/2 sat on the bus sweating to death (engine hence air con was off) we set off again....
