4,000 photos in my travel blog page were taken by me using Ricoh roll film and digital cameras. I still like the Ricoh very much, but couldn't find out a professional camera of this brand name in Hanoi. From now on, I will use a new camera of the Canon which is worth US$850. Real stories and prisoners, who were tortured at this prison, were recorded on pictures hanging on the walls.

This temple was built a long time ago as the local fishermen prayed good weather before their sea trips.

A local boy on our boat is catching squid. The tour is from 5pm to 8:30pm and it costs US$10.

This monument is located near Phú Quốc prison.

The dogs on the island have special hair shapes on their backs.

I saw this food at Dinh Cậu night market and wanted to taste it.

The local motorbike driver took me to a house where famous local wine is made. I tasted a little bit. It was sweet and light.

This is the first site I visited on the island. However, I didn't walk further along the stream to save time. I told motorbike driver that the rocks and stream were similar to the ones I've seen near Hanoi.

A boat for catching squid at An Thới port.

This shot was taken at a pearl shop. The same balls and oyster cages are placed on the sea near the shop. It takes a few years until the pearls are created.

Thanks for the very interesting photos and helpful information about the island. I do hope the international airport and casino will not spoil the island. Very bad luck about your knee - hope it is getting better

Great photos with the new camera! A very interesting blog. On our next visit I would like to see a fish sauce factory to learn how it is made. We hope your knee is better now.

2 ! tui cũng đã đc đi PQ 1 lần. Chưa đc ăn còi biên mai, nghe như bạn nói chắc là phải chịu tốn tiền quay lại đảo 1 lần nữa rùi. hiện tại đang tìm Nhum để ăn :). Nhum ngon mà, béo, mỗi việc tui ko ăn cay đc nên mù tạc chào thua, múc 1 miếng hít hà 10 cái :) ấy vậy mà nhớ lại còn thòm thèm. When trở lại đảo, hú tui 1 tiếng coi có đk đi chung ko hen. hình bạn chụp...tui coi ko dc tấm nào, kêu chờ hoài :)
