..or was it the other way around? Just another random sight in Thailand. Think there was a Water Buffalo fighting place nearby.

Mike spent two hours on his board and I finally managed to get a photo of him up on his board. At one point he looked down to see a cloud of jelly fish washing over the board, luckily they missed him!

...the girls relax. Mike surfed and I sunbathed and drank beer! The Thais had an ingenious solution to keep my jug of beer cool!

Best cocktails of the holiday, served in fishbowl-like glasses!

You can take a boy away from his boat for only so long! We had a lovely couple of hours sailing up and down Maenam beach (5km of sand) on this little catamaran.

We arrived in Koh Lanta after a hellish 12.5hr journey by land and sea. It was worth it though and as good as I remember. Chilling on the beach by day and partying by night. Met some awesome people too.

I love the ramshackle little beach bars you find all over Thailand.

On Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta you can still see signs of the Tsunami. The government has made lots of official escape routes on low lying areas in case there is a next time.

I finally let Mike get a moped, he was excited, though the young boy in the photo behind him doesn't seem too impressed. I made him go off for a long ride by himself before I dared go on the back!

It was very crowded, not many people seemed keen to sit down below, including me! Luckily it was only a couple of hours from Koh Lanta

We lucked out at £10 per night including this lovely pool with a view. Some days you just need a lazy day around the pool (or 4)

We climbed up to the viewpoint for sunset. Sadly it was a Muslim viewpoint, so no beers to be found. But on the plus side they had lovely decorations! (It also doubles as a Tsumani escape route)

It was worth the climb. (Mike pulling off the zebra stiped beach bag I think!) Though unfortunately he wore his 'Mr Jihad' vest top, oooppss.

It was busy at the top, luckily we were first to arrive and got a great spot.

After all that climbing we had a nice evening at Banana Bars rooftop cinema, eating yummy Mexican food. There was something terribly British about it. (Aside from the food)

We did a one day snorkeling trip around Phi Phi. First stop was our own beach, duh!!! (Best snorkeling on the island though)
