Bangkok has the potential to be a fantastic city, but its is tainted with the notorious scam artists, touts, and thieves.
And boy these guys are talented too!
Rule no.1: DO NOT talk to anybody. Do not trut anybody. Do not rely on anybody.
Rule no.2: Do not get a TUK-Tuk. These guys are known to overcharge, rob and bring you all over the city, to places you dont want to go. One guy myself and my partner travelled with kept refusing to bring us back to out hotel. The area was very run down that we were travelling in. The only option that works is to get bloody angry with the driver. Otherwise, they just dont listen.
Rule no.3: you DO NOT need a new suit!
