Today we left Koh Samui at 12:30, before this Nic, Jamila and I went for a pedicure at one of the many spas in Koh Samui. This was very enjoyable as in the spa all the chairs are laid out together, so we could all sit next to each other and get the pedicure done at the same time.

After this we got a minivan to the jetty and got back on the ferry to the mainland. From the mainland we took a coach for 2 hours to Surat Thani and from here we boarded the overnight train to Bangkok. This was interesting, the beds folded out from the chairs, it was very basic and pretty small. The train was not air conditioned and so was pretty hot. We played eye spy, the guess who/what I am game and watched a couple of episodes of Modern Family (a sitcom Tony introduced us to). At 9:30 we had out beds made up the curfew was 10.00! i read for a while and then had a very uncomfortable nights sleep (without much sleep) and arrived in Bangkok at 6am.
