We crossed into Thailand from Malaysia by what seemed like an easy well trodden path, well at least according to the venerated Lonely Planet book. More incredible journeys by train, boat and bus! You clearly need to stop buying first class tickets. Now I know why the Shore Bar closed. The barman could not whirl flaming orbs on chains round his head for peanuts.
