Our busOur busOur bus

This is the bus that took us from BKK to PKK. Five hours turned into seven hours. Lucky the seats were so comfy and the music was so good. Oh no, the seats were shit, but not as shit as the thai death metal playing.
Woke up
Packed
Checked out
Paid
Found 100 baht on the floor
Lost the key for the guest houses padlock
Got a taxi driver who didn't speak any English - we could still only say thank you in Thai
Managed to communicate (we think) the bus station for buses going south
Said thank you in Thai
Got in Cab and started driving
Over the bridge
Onto a big major road
Drove
Drove
Drove
Started to wonder if the driver had actually understood where we wanted to go
Wondered
Wondered
Wondered
Arrived
Sighed with relief
Said thank you in Thai again
Had KFC, Thai style (quality zinger!)
Got on ropey old “government” bus
Drove
Drove
Drove
Looked out the window
Drove
Drove

Drove
Got bored
Drove

Darkness fell
Drove
Drove

Arrived
Went to see guest house near bus stop - rubbish
Went to another one
Checked in
Drank lots of water
Had some fried fish with garlic and rice at the night market (thought we got charged “farang” prices, but remembered the French twat in Bangkok and just graciously paid and left, slightly annoyed)
Had some ice cream
Went to sleep

We saw this shop in the bus station... Just after this we were told off by a guard for taking pictures in the bus station. WHY?
