My Hotel 'SubhamitraMy Hotel 'SubhamitraMy Hotel 'Subhamitra

Clean, comfy, and freindly
Feeling much better after a good nights sleep, settled into Hua Hin really easily, ended up staying four nights at my good Hotel, Subhamitra.

Had a horse ride on the beach, lazed by the pool, posted a couple parcels, sorted a phone card, changed some traveller's cheques, ate well at various sea food restaraunts, particularly good one on the pier, with the water chopping underneath me, very dodgy looking wooden pier too. It is a shame that it has rained such alot here, but definately worth the visit, glad I stopped off here.

Yvonne, there are some beautiful colourful flowers out here at the moment, I would not have a clue what they are called, but I guess its because of the weather, lots of rain bringeth nice flowers....
Jaye, I made the mistake of buying a pair of shorts the other day, from the markets, of course they did not fit, there are some wonderful looking clothes, however they are made for small people, I may get away with the odd top, otherwise, I am having to hang onto what I have left, (did get rid of some), and bought a new bag for daytime mouching around (safe,

For my last day I booked onto a Thai Cookery day, which started with us shopping in the Hua Hin market, for fresh produce, (meat, veg, fruit and fish), and taken to Natalie's Thai House to cook, we made a red/green curry paste in traditional Thai way. Spicy Cocout Soup with Shrimp, Thai Desert in coconut milk (Khanom lot chong) plus a seafood soufle in Banana leaf to bring away. Also plenty of various fresh fruit. Was a fabulous day, with a Danish family of four and an English couple who live in Denmark. Very relaxing and fun.

Tomorrow I am booked on a bus and Catamaran to Koh Tao, I leave at 8.15 and arrive in Koh Tao at 14.30, then have to find accommodation. I have been asking anyone I speak to and have some ideas of where I can stay, over the other side of the island. (East) So see what happens...........

Not sure what internet is like on the Island, so may be out of touch for a few days.
