I finally figured out how to make images images the right size. Every computer seems to be different around here. Urghghh... Patience is a virtue. I don't want to get too behind, so here is some eye candy to tide you over.

So, yea... obviously we are not quite roughing it yet. When it's only $35/night to stay here, it's hard to find a good reason to leave. But, we'll probably venture on tomorrow... stay tuned.

Long Tail Boats
There are many locations between the islands and beaches where you have to take Long Tail Boats to get anywhere...

Going Snorkeling in Phi Phi
Here we are on a Long Tail boat. We got lunch, and 8 hours of snorkeling on 5 different islands for 500 baht! That's 12 U.S. dollars!

The long tail boat brought us here. We think they are operated by miscellaneous engines from cars and such.

The long tail boat brought us here too, on our snorkeling trip. We ate lunch here... there were several bungalows in the middle of what seemed like no where.

I thought they were cute lying there... I had to take a picture. I later found out they they had just exchanged wedding vows 3 weeks earlier and were on their honeymoon escaping Israel.

Now that's more like it, darlin'! Sometimes it takes a while to get into the swing of "time off"...glad to see you hit your stride! Chelsea, I am so glad you are having so much fun and adventure! Even though I do not know your friend, tell her hello for me! The pictures are great, wish I was there. It is neat to be able to stop and slow down to smell the roses, so to speak. It makes you realize how fast paced America is, and that we do not value keeping some of our energy, creating more happiness inside of ourselves, as we should!
