Today is our last morning in Chiang Mai! It has been so so amazing!! So many fun adventures but we were also pretty excited about heading to phuket for some sun and relaxation! Last night we had a massage at our favourite massage place and booked in again for first thing in the morning! We are becoming quite the regulars! So we decided to head back, naturally to our fave breakie place up the road but I decided to treat myself to eggs bene and mum to waffles – not bad not bad at all! But we ended up being in such a rush to get to our massage before our flight that iv never wolfed them down so quickly in my life! So with slight indigestion we headed for our final chiang mai massage. Was once again awesome and the ladies were lovely as ever!
Without really knowing how far we were from the airport we paid way too much from the hotel to the airport but ah well totally not in our nature we were very early for our flight! We didn’t really know what to do with ourselves! But managed to fill in the time and boarded
our plane to phuket no dramas! Weehoo!
When we arrived we didn’t really know what to expect but the airport was wayyy crazier than Bangkok airport!! People everywhere harassing us for taxis and we had no idea where our hotel was really let alone how much we should be paying for it! But we paid 150 baht and hopped in a van with alot of very silent other ppl! Think everyone was listening to us and watching us eat! It was very weird and a bit annoying cos the van driver stopped in at this tourist info place apparntley for him to work out where we were all goin but instead we all just got harassed about buying tours! And not just givig us ideas for tours but buying them then and there! It took about 15-20mins for us actually to get outta there scarfree! And thankfully we were the first drop off!
We stood outside our massive massive resort with mouths hanging open! It was gianormous and so so flash! We just looked at each other with no words – shock horror i know! :P We got given lil drinks on arrival and waited and filled out
paperwork as she proceeded to tell us of the 3 pools and 5 restaurants and the shuttle that takes you to your room instead of walking up the hill or to wherever your room was situated! We were blown away! We had no idea that this is what we had booked but were NOT complaining! We got taken up to our room, which had a view of the beach and it was so pretty! We both had princess beds with the mosquito draped net around us! So cool! They even had these lil cardboard cut outs of feet that said on them that this is where you leave your shoes to be shined! Dont think my havis need that royal treatment. They wouldn’t cope!
By this stage it was about 5pm so we wandered to have a look at the pools but could only find 2 so then headed down to the beach. It was still quite busy but not too bad and was just so beautiful as the sun was quite low! We tested the water – very warm! Mmm cant wait to go for a swim! Then we headed up the absolutely crazy bust streets of patong

last breakie in chiang mai talking to nanny to try and scope out eating places and massage places! Very few nice looking eating places and took foreeeeevvverrr to even be able to cross the road at any point cos there were motorbikes for Africa and cars and tuk tuks in between! We did find a nice looking place for dinner though and I ordered a stuffed pineapple which was AWESOME! Right up my alley! Stuffed with fried curry ride and prawns and chicken and pineapple. Yum yum! Mum had chicken schnitzel which was also nice. We started looking at Phi Phi tours at dinner also cos as most restaurants were there, the restaurant also tripled as a tour company and a massage place! Back to our flash resort mansion for a relatively early night to rest up for our big day tomorrow of doing NOTHING!!! Yay!
