I am back.
My imagination about phuket was totally different of a place like some beaches, water sport activities, pubs and bars stuff etc etc.
But it was lot more beyond that..
The day we landed, weather was clouldy and on our way to resort it was raining cats and dogs. It was so surprising to have rain on one road and no rain at the other. Also that hilly terrain was speeding up my blood flow and I can still feel the moment.
This awsome combination of mountain heights and sea bed at one place was a perfect mixture of a perfect destination.
Resort hospitality was commendable with both hands together and forward inclined head.
After reaching Salathai resort at 11:00 AM, we decided to take rest till 1 and then with the help of one very nice tour agent(KAYA), I arranged everythhing.
After having very nice Indian food at 1 PM we hired a car(Mrs. Vios) for City tour which was giving me all the luxury comfort:-)
Visited Pearl factory,Cashew Nut factory,Wat chalong, Big buddha,Prom them cape,Karon beach,Phuket town view point till 7 PM.
Did some shopping in the night at patong beach area followed by awsome food accompanied
by heavy down pour.
It was heavenly.
Then took the traditional tuk tuk back to resort and was off for the day.
Next day morning was planned for Phang Nga Bay tour on a big boat.
Crew was fantastic and the fellow travellers on board were also very interesting, it was kind of a family environment after some ice breaking activities.
Now what should I tell about the Phang Nga Bay, it was resembling to Guilin of china with pristine dark green water and limestone creations.
Visited James Bond Island, though was not that appealing to me, people enjoyed it alot giving dffent james bond poses at the hot spot.
We did canoeing and that was the most enthralling experience for specially my family and for me too. Me because I jumped from the top of big boat right into the sea😱
Crossing the beautiful caves and zig zag water moves and that too without a life jacket was a mix feeling.
After that some of us swam in the sea while the boat was at halt and did some canoeing of our own...was fun rowing here and there and then jumping off the boat and than getting on
it again.
Then was sumptous lunch on board, i had the whole white snapper😱
My folks also managed some how with veg stuff. Then it was canoeing again in one diamond cave. Had a glimpse of simon cabaret on boat with three boat man dressed up like bar girls and proper cabaret.
There gestures were making me shy sometimes and I was trying to steel eyes from my mom.
Came back at shore around 5:30 PM and back to resort at 6:00 PM. As everything was planned by Mayur(The great Cambodian King), the next excursion was scheduled at 6:30 PM to PHUKET FANTASEA.
Fantasea was awsome experience again. Umpteen number of WAI's(thai namaskar) by beautiful dressed thailand girls, a fine blend of las vegas and thai tradition with elephants prominently present every where you see was Phuket fantasea.
HUGE is the world came to my mouth as I enterd "The Golden Kinnara", a 3000 people capacity buffet with almost every world famous cusine. Awsome.
Adding to our surprise, one separate Indian food counter was there which mother and sister enjoyed like anything.
Brother in law and me were keeping ourself busy in mexican, italian, japanese and thai
dishes to shell out the maximum we have paid for!!
Tiger milk feeding, cute photography with elephants and thailand princess was adding more and more to omnipresent fun filled mood.
Perfect and flawless presentation is what I can say about Iyara Kamala show. Show was above the expectaion from Thai people with culture imbibed fully in every part of it.
We returned back to our resort with some more high speed photography after the show.
Last Day was planned for Phi Phi island package.
After having delicious and free 😱 breakfast we started 7:30 AM in a pickup van to marina pier from where a group of 20 people proceeded towards Maya Beach in the most exciting part of my trip(The speed boat)
I will never be able to explain the fear and adventure involved in that ride. I was sitting with two more boat man at the front open portion of the boat with all other passenger inside the closure.
The boat was literally flying at times beaking my back everytime I landed. Hell scary it was with sea wanting to eat at you at any single miss.
Travelling around 1 hour at the speed of 30
Nauticles per hour, we reached Maya beach. I was easily able to imagine myself in the movie "The Beach "after looking at the unspoiled beauty of Maya beach.
Sea was very rough to avoid our halt at the land of Leonardo Decaprio. Being there I suddenly remembered I used to look like Leonardo while I was in my college😱
Then we moved to one secluded island for some relaxing and swimming in crystal clear waters and had fruits and cold drinks at the shore. Mom also accompanied me in swimming with our God Lord Krishna.
Then was some sight seeing activities looking at Viking Cave, Monkey Beach and feeding colorfull fishes cruising along the boat.
After this we stopped for lunch break at some busy island. It was full of tour agents and restraunts.
Afterwards we departed for 50 mins ride to Khai island, simply never ever seen such a white sand in my whole life. My folks rested in that heavenly place while I was exploring fishes in snorkeling. Looking at the water clearity, there was no need for snorkeling gadgets.
After spending around 1 hour we returned back to land and there were elephants waiting for
us in Island Safari for 15 mins ride.It was quite a different experience for all of us.
Finally we ran towards airport after taking a quick shower and came back home.
I started this blog with an idea to tell you briefly that trip went beautiful and see how long it took me to end.
