Obviously I don't need to die. I've found heaven and it's called Villa #16 at Bundarika Villas, Phuket, Thailand. (http://www.bundarika.com)

Seriously, I have NEVER stayed, maybe even SEEN, a place like this....

Our plan for this trip was to get away, right away and just forget about all things school and relax. We did not want to be pressured into seeing Thailand, going out and about when all we wanted to do was nothing. I think by the end of this we will have achieved that.

We arrived into our KL hotel last night just after midnight and left again at 5am, ready to catch our 7:30am flight to Thailand. It was pretty excruciating but that's what happens when you don't book an airport room when the Grand Prix is on.

Arrived into Phuket at 8am, jumped in a taxi and drove to our resort which is in the middle of nowhere (just as we planned), on a private beach. We pulled up to reception (a villa in of itself) and realised that we were right to have high expectations of the place. We were so very, very early that we didn't

expect to be able to go to our room but after a delay of about 10 minutes, our room was ready.

As we gathered our gear, the receptionist said "I'm sorry but the room you booked is not available so my manager has given me permission to upgrade you to a ONE BEDROOM VILLA WITH A PRIVATE POOL."

We stayed calm, thinking it will be lovely but not wanting to get too excited. Walked into our villa (feels like a village it's so big!!) and almost started crying. It is absolutely drop dead exquisite. We are just beside ourselves with gratitude. It's exactly what we wanted and desired. Quiet - not a single car in hearing distance, private beach so no hawkers or day trippers and as everyone has their own villa, you don't even run into any of the other guests! Everything is just gorgeous and worth every penny we saved just for this 😊

The resort offers two shuttles a day, one into town (lunch time) and one into the most popular beachy-shopping-bar area (dinner time) for free as there are no shops or restaurants in the area.

We're going to head into Patong

No clamoring to claim chairs by the pool for us.
tonight on the shuttle for a seafood dinner and a bit of shopping (trashy mags are high on my agenda, ready for reading while IN THE POOL tomorrow).
