So today is our last day here in Karon Beach, Phuket, Have to say that we have had a really good time here doing all the tours.

Our first day here was pretty normal, didn't do very much only took a walk around and got a good feel for the place, We spent the evening looking aroung at what tours we were going to do and where we'd get the best price..

First tour was the James Bond island tour.. this was brilliant. We started off on a kind of a narrow boat travelling through these wide rivers to get to the James Bond Island.. This was where they filmed scenes from the Man with the Golden Gun in 1974.. Very spectacular place (See Photos). Also that morning we did a sea canoe and went for lunch in this Gypsie Village which was really cool. It was huge and was all built on Stilts..

in the Afternoon we went on to the Safari Park which was only down the road.. It was also Fantastic.. Went Elephant trekking which was mad (and got to feed them bananas also see photos), They put on a baby elephant show which was really funny and muggins here ended up taking part. They had the elephant giving me a Massage only I had to get it lying on my back (everyone else that had it done was on their belly), then they stuck bananas between my legs so the elephant would gio for them with his trunk.. Not a very nice feeling.. That finished up that part and then on to the Monkey show which was also deadly.. This was the best tour we've been on so far in Thailand..

Next day was just a pretty relaxing day by the beach where we relaxed so much that we both got a bit burnt... AGAIN...

The following day we done the boat tour of Phi Phi Island.. That was pretty good but a bit too long on the boat.. It was also really cramped. We wnt to the beach where they filmed the movie "the beach" and headed on to Phi Phi for lunch. We had the chance to go snorkelling but seeing as we were only there for a few hours we decided to stay on the island and have a good look around (went snorkelling already in Samui!!) It is a beautiful island but is still only recovering from the Tsunami.Really nice to spend time here but not long enough..

Our last day here was meant to be another quiet day on the beach...UNTIL shell suggested to go on the Dingy's which are attached to a speed boat. She was so excited about these dingys that she even offered to go all the way back to the hotel on her own (which is only across the road from the beach, but I was reminded that this was the longest we've been apart since the start of the hols!!!!!! ) to get the money.. So off we go and get in this dingy.. Worst thig i could have done for my ears as it's now 5 hours later and I'm still deaf in my left one... It was brilliant and really fast and we were out for 20 mins (20 mins of screaming!!!!) and the guys on the spped boat just kept going faster because they were having so much fun listening to her. In fact the whole beach was having a laugh at her expense!!!!

So tomorrow we have an early start to head back to Koh Samui. We've uploaded loads of photos from both cameras so their a bit mixed up, but they should have either Samui or Phuket on them.... ENJOY
