Patong beach around 5 pm. wish I can see this scene everyday!
start our journey in KL LCCT with Air Asia mid afternoon flight. Thanks to air Asia - "Now Everyone Can Fly", hee hee. just when the flight captain announced to rebuckle our seat belt as it approaching Phuket, my sis, Ikin with a loud voice, "Cik Long, tengok bawah (see below)". When I looked down, it was one of the most recognisable images etched in my memory, the topography of Phi Phi Island, which in the air look like a high decked chair (that's Phi Phi Don), with the clearest, greenest water I had ever seen. Due to haste, I forgot to get my 'Kodak moment', if not I can add to my National Geographic photo collection. (last year, when we went to Bali, I managed to capture the pic of volcano (mind you, not the active one, tho’)

Arrived at the airport, long queue to take meter taxi, get taxi, journey to patong take about 45 minutes. A bit worried along the way, as rain suddenly pour, then ok, then pour again. yeah what do you expect when travel during low season, eh? arrived at patong beach, suddenly taxi stop in front of a beautiful looking hotel, overlooking the

sea. Very excited. Wow, is this what we get when we pay just MYR25 pp a night. Ina said, "Wah best nye, bukak mata je nampak laut." turn out it's the wrong one, taxi send us to the correct one, in the middle of nowhere.

4 pm, stomach grumbling, looking for food, found laila restaurant about 300 meters from our rented apartment. order tom yam, yum yum! stomach full, stroll along patong beach, looking around for travel agencies for our activities for tonight & tomorrow. booked tour (fantasea show for tonight, and james bond island for tomorrow]. find ourselves trapped in having a reflexology massage in the same travel agent booth (you see, they actually a massage shop, but also operated as a small tour kiosk in front of the massage shop. you see this all around phuket, whatever business you are in, there will be a small kiosk for tour booking, where they act as agent, like orang tengah la). we are not actually trapped, more like so excited bcoz it's cheap, around MYR25/hour for reflexology, you can't get that in KL, ma!

finish massage, already nighttime, go to fantasea show in kamala beach. before we book,

hesitate as 1 person cost around myr100. when reach there, almost blown over by the place, really feel like in fantasy land. the show itself is good (we pass the dinner), although we still feel baffled until now about the stupid & irrelevant magic show in the middle of the show. if they have a suggestion box, surely will ask them to remove it. fantasea land, require a lot of Kodak moment, we forgot about the driver who wait for us. ha ha. get back to rented apartment about 11 pm.
