i feel like im in some Jurassic park movie - the bugs and insects here are at least 10 times the size of back home. The Air con made some strange noises this moring and when i turned it off an ant the size of my fist jumped out and started running around, needless to say i sprinted like a lunatic - when i had the courage to return it took 5 or 6 smacks with my flip flop and it was still squirming around...

apart from that it hasnt stopped raining, it is also low season so there are very few tourists about - lots of touts and people offering various 'services' on th street

i have decided Koh Samui is similar to Florida but sleazier, cheaper and younger!
