Morning After Full Moon...Morning After Full Moon...Morning After Full Moon...

Saying Good Moring to the SUN
WoW! the past couple days have been a little nuts (well nuts for thailand time) we've been trying to a lot of things but also relax on the beach. Well last time we wrote we were on our way to the FULL MOON PARTY!!! We knew it was going to be busy because the Thurdsay and the Friday were a buddhist holiday but i didn't realize it was going to be THAT BUSY! there were about 30,000 people that showed to the party. The beach was packed! Everyone was drunked or high on something! it was a little nuts to say the least. I can;t believe how much Koh Phangan island has changed since we were there three years ago. Now on Haad Rin Beach instead of quaint little bungalows on the beach they have been replace by fancy expensive hotels (Expensive for thailand backpacking budget like $40+) one hotel is even in the shape of a huge boat. Even the little beach bars have been replace by these double decker bars with balconies. It was quite sad to see actually it really has lost that relaxed feel that it used to have. Now instead of hanging out on the beach

or in a hammock people on haad rin head to the video game bar (the have a ton of tvs and xboxes or whatever) it's weird. Matt and Chad also had there eyes opened HAHAH! they were dancing with some PRETTY LADIES ahving a great time until one asked "You Like LADy BoY? (lady boys are "men" persay but look like really beautiful women) You should have seen their faces drop. It was the funniest thing ever. since then they have been a little on edge look at every thai person wondering hahah!

The day after full moon Chad had an accident with the a door. He slipped and pulled on the door to balance himself and it ended up running over his foot making a huge gouge. He was bleeding alot and we had to take him to the hospital. It was a fun little adventure. Not at all like the hospitals here. the waiting room was outside on a patio. After that we took the evening easy and packed our bags as we were heading to Koh Samui the next day.

We took a boat ride to Koh Samui Island which only took half an hour

(a nice short ride for once) We decided to stay a Lamai beach since it 's a little calmer and not as busy as Chaweng (this is where all the bars are) It took us a while to find a place to stay but finally we found an awesome bungalow with air conditioning, TVs, american Toilets all for 500 Baht (about $16 a night) we spent the rest of the day shopping in Lamai and Chaweng.

Yesterday (tuesday) we went to a Tiger Zoo and Aquarium. It was awesome! we got to see a whole bunch of different kinds of fish, Feed humongous turtles, watch a tiger and bird show and Best of ALL WE GOT PICTURES WITH A TIGER!!! that's right we got to pet a real live Tiger it was the best thing ever! The bird show was really good they did a whole bunch of tricks like riding a bike had races against eachother and the tigers jumped through fire. I loved it! Last night we ended up staying at a restaurant and watching a movie, we were all pretty tired. The heat just kills you here. As for today we spent some time on the
