Borneo or back to Thailand - That is the question!

So, our last few weeks - after a few weeks of rain we wanted to guarantee that we had good weather on our final stint. Checking the extended weather forecast for Borneo it was 60 - 70% chance of rain per day! Our Swedish friends were heading to Koh Phangnan for the full moon party - which we had missed last time we were here.

So, after just one night in Singapore (where is was pouring!) we flew up to Bangkok and got the coach and catamaran back to where we began in Koh Phangnan. Ironically, when we landed at Bangkok the song, 'Rain drops keep falling on my head' was playing! You really couldnt write this stuff!

We bought a disposable camera for the full moon party but it basically involved 9,000 Westerners on Haad Rin Beach drinking buckets - which consist of 1/2 litre thai whisky, 2x Red Bulls AKA Crazy Juice and a can of cola - not surprisingly resulting in many messy people until the sun came up. Happy Days!

By the way - thankfully the sun is out in full force - please order some for the UK for two weeks time!xx
