Here it is the famous full moon party.

Too tacky for me i'm afraid. Keep in mind i am 28 so i guess i am past it. All the drum & bass and trance music kind of did my head in. It was cool to be on the beach amongst 1000's of others and fire dancers, buckets of whiskey red bull and coke (the mother of all hangovers!!). This place is absolutely buzzing during full moon week. I got so sick of it its unreal. In the day time you can see the damage to the island the thousands of beer bottles, plastic bottles, broken glass, it just had a disgusting abused scummy feel to the place, discarded chicken, meat kebabs on the street, sick looking dogs with one eye missing limbs. I think this place has seen better days. For the first time traveller in hsi/her early 20's i suppose i can see the appeal but when you've seen Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, some parts of western USA, you really dont see the point in coming to this island. It is like magaluf only with more rubbish/drugs and p*ss heads. I had to leave this place, i felt if

I came to the surprisingly easy decision (whilst watching neighbours on TV actually) to trade in my soul destroying job, move out of my house & pack up my things & leave Londons grey skies, rain soaked crowded streets, and the 9-5 repetitious routine of working 'life' for an unspecified number of years of dodging work erm i mean wandering around the world looking for something different/better? a new perspective and to see what living 'life' was like on the other side of the world.
