Laemset Inn

July 20th 2007 I know Ko Samui is over covered, over developed and probably over as a destination of value in many people's minds but i just wanted to share a slice of it thats pretty idylic, even if it is a hotel/resort. Down on the south coast there is a beautiful little hotel/resort/village called the Laemset Inn, lon g known to those seeking something less touristy. No TV's in the bungalows is a good sign. No dancing girl bars, not even a village close by. Set up in the late 80's by an Englishman, it has original rosewood houses, two beautiful little beaches for it's own use and great seafood on offer. No, it's not an advert, just somewhere worth recommending. It's not a backpacker place, the prices start around 75 US a night, but it's perfect for families that have kids who can entertain themselves with just a pool and a beach.
I love it here and will keep coming back. Hope you enjoy the photos, again taken on the Nolia n93i, i was playing with exposure values on the black and white pics..
