Believe it or not but travelling is actually very tiring. So it is decided now that I am back in Taipei I will start with a day off and then I will take it easy.
My day off started on Saturday night. I went out with Ryan and his friends. Ryan is a guy I met in South Korea when I went there to visit Andrew. He is now teaching English near Taipei. So we went to a restaurant and then we drank beers in a bar called 'On tap'. This bar had the same logo than the London underground. We stayed there until about 2am. It was great.
Sunday morning I slept in 😊 and got up to a horrible weather. It was raining cats and dogs. I had a burger for lunch and then I decided that this weather was giving me a perfect excuse to go to the mall and the cinema. Usually I don't really like malls but this time around it felt very familiar and 'relaxing'. I even went around all the floors (5). I kind of need to do some shopping anyways as I have managed to lose 2 T-shirts last time I
did the laundry. Plus they were playing Christmas song. Not that I am in a very Christmassy mood but it made me happy.
Then I went to see part 2 of the Hobbit in 3D. I loved it! I am so pleased that they play movies in their original version with subtitles in Mandarin. I just had to ignore the subtitles.
I think I might have days off like that once in a while, it is very regenerating!
