Elephant Safari: A most unforgettable adventure for us--definitely one of our top experiences this trip. This large mother elephant is one of three in the park who are known to the rangers by name. Her torn ear identifies her.

This place was remarkably cheap but lovely. We had a room onto the garden out the back.

Next door to our 2-star hotel was the 5-star Cinnamon Lodge. We have learned to wander into the cafes of such hotels for a decent coffee!

The lagoon was so serene and full of lilies and birds. We climbed into a tree hut and watched for a while.

They make scud, according to Dylan Thomas, but here they're having a break.

We walked back over to Cinnamon Lodge for an evening gin and tonic on the patio. As the lowering sun repainted the lagoon, we marvelled over our day. We have been so blessed!
