I got the opportunity to Travel to Ampara, Sri Lanka with the Tourism Ministry to identify New Places and Attractions. This time Ampara, the eastern coast of Sri Lanka. It is still a less commercial area for tourists. However, if you are an adventure traveler, there is lots to discover. Jungles, Mountains, Lakes, Caves, Monasteries, fishing, camping ....etc. You will also find something you don't see often in most parts of the world. It happends in the Gal Oya National Park. Adding some pictures i took. It is truly a beautiful area.

Gal Oya National Park, Ampara, Sri Lanka
Awesome place to trek through the jungle and camp by the lake which also connects to the sea. Have to wacth out for the elephants though.
