Greeting at the PortGreeting at the PortGreeting at the Port

On cruises, you are often greeted (or bid farewell) by traditional performers. This was this morning in Jeju.

Our tour today was on the largest South Korean Island of Jeju. At the centre of the island is a volcano (not active).

Our first stop was the Folklore and Natural History Museum. Some interesting displays our the culture and history of the island.

Next stop was Yongduam to see the naturally sculptured rock in the form of a dragon hence the name "Dragon Rock".

Last stop before returning to the ship was the Jeju Dongmun Market. Lots of vegetables, fish, meats and citrus fruit. Very colourful.

Weather was great today. Not a cloud in the sky and around 55 degrees.

And Happy St. Patrick's day too. We get to celebrate a lot earlier than you. We are currently 13 hours ahead.

They free dive for fresh seafood. They were also eating some of their catch raw (octopus still moving!)
