After trying to add and subtract the hours and days, I have approximated the time and date to the best of my ability. My flight from FAT to LAX left at 8:00pm and arrived at 9:05pm. Since you are supposed to check in two hours early for international flights and I was the only person aside from security when i arrived, I had the full two hours to wait before my flight left. It was only an hour and a half because we board half an hour early. I called my parents several times for the necessary information to arrive for my credit card to be used in China. They informed me that the red flag by continent, not country so it would be fine if I bought anything in Korea too. I texted a few people and we left. There were no TV or food in the very small we took, but I have elected not to sleep the night before and slept the whole flight. I had a three hour layover/wait before my next flight, LAX to ICN, which departed at 12:20am and arrived in South Korean at 05:20am, so
I spoke with lots of people. The flight next to our was going to Mexico City, DF and I met a lovely lady returning home to Guatemala. I also met a very cute girl from Chen-dong in the middle of China. I took Asiana Airline and was on a jumbo jet. The two guys next to me were very friendly. One of them was Thai and going to China on a vacation, he was enjoying his summer break. He's attending a university in the United States working on his PhD in health. The other guy was Chinese and was going to Beijing was attending a university in Utah for a semester. I really should have written down their names or contact information. Asiana Airline was the best airline i have ever been on. We were fed a 'snack' which was a terrible tasteless roll with mayonnaise, cheese, and a flavorless meat. The Thai guy next to me asked the stewardess for a salad because he didn't eat whatever meat was in the mystery roll. She brought him a tray with eight items! He got a small salad with two pieces of shrimp, a small salad with two tomatoes, a bun
with butter, a square of cheesecake, three slices of squash, some brown sticks which tasted which had a meaty/fishy taste. He and the stewardess said they were free so i asked her to bring me one too. I wolfed the food down and checked out the tv. The TV's had a remote and were not touch screen but, the 40 channels they had playing were very impressive. Every person had a pillow and blanket on their seat when they arrived and an over the head headset covered in plastic. This shows the contrast to many of the American companies which charge you for a pillow, blanket, headset, and any food at all. The first two were the flight status in English/Chinese and then Korean. The next 18 were movies on repeat in English with Chinese subtitles. I watched parts of Tooth Fairy, Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief, Love Letters to John, and pretty much everything that left theaters and is less than a year old. The last twenty were Korean and Chinese movies, CNN in english, and some Korean channels. The stewardess walked by giving everyone as much water and juice as they wanted. I had a window seat
with two guys next to me so i didn't drink more than one cup of water. After the first hour, i fell asleep and woke up four or five times when the guys next to me received water and juice and breakfast which i didn't eat. I woke up about 40 minutes outside of Seoul, Korea which is pretty good for a 13 hour flight. That's when i watched the movies and it finally hit me that I'm GOING TO CHINA!!!!!!!!! We arrived at 4:50 which is 30 minutes early. I went through security and I wish i was back on the airplane with the free food, movies, and good company. Ha ha ha! My next flight leaves at 9:30am and arrives at 10:30am, so we are going to board at 9:00am. I have four hours here and my laptop is about to die. I better find an outlet before my laptop dies. My laptop is still on Fresno time because I haven't connected to the internet. It says it's 1:45pm. Later people!
