OK, well this is it. I'm leaving Korea.
Heading back to Canada.

So this is the end of the chapter for Korea. Some things will be missed but I'm happy to be coming home. It's time... after 3 years, it's definitely time to leave Korea. I'll definitely miss the lifestyle, apartment paid for, being able to take trips to amazing countries every 5 months or so. I'll be getting the "fever" after a few months of being home, needing to travel... but I won't be able to... it's gonna hurt.
Planning on going back to school once I get back to Canada, so is Brendan. It's going to be quite the change... teacher for 3 years and then back to being a student😊

So home...BUT FIRST.... taking a month to go backpacking. Destination---> Egypt.... Morocco.... Spain and.. Portugal. Honestly, so gosh darn excited!!!!!!!! Brendan and I and a couple from California, Ali and Nathan, will be flying out February 16th and landing in Cairo.

We'll be in each country for approx. one week. It's not much time so, we've planned quite a bit already so we don't waste anytime while we're there and are trying to make it as stress free as possible. In Egypt, we'll be visiting Cairo and Luxor. Morrocco, we'll be visiting Marrakesh and a few other cities on the way to Tangier, where we're catching a ferry to Spain (only two hours away!). We'll stay down south in Spain in Granada and Seville and after about 8 days we'll be heading to Portugal where we'll rent a car because wonderful Nathan got his international license while visiting home a month ago. Driving from the south of portugal and camping along the way to Lisbon.
Flying out of Lisbon March 16th. Flying back to Seoul for ONE day to pick up my kitty cat, who will be staying with our dear friend Niall, and then flying out March 18th.
So stay tuned, I'll be writing a bit while travelling on this awesome trip.
Adios!

I am sure that you are going to make this last (for a while) trip really count and it will be full of fun and adventure, so different from some of the third world countries that you have previously visited. We, at home, anxiously await your return (what an amazing Birthday gift!!!) and look forward to helping you ease back into your new life back in Ottawa. Love Mom
